4. How We Use AI and Personalization

Pawsitive Messages uses artificial intelligence models provided by third-party service providers to generate content.

When you create a message, your prompt inputs and related context may be processed by AI systems in order to generate outputs.

We may also analyze usage activity, message patterns, and engagement trends to:

• Improve personalization
• Recommend voices or message styles
• Surface popular themes or seasonal content
• Enhance app performance and user experience

We may generate aggregated and anonymized insights such as trending voices or popular themes. These insights do not identify individual users.

We do not use your personal content to train proprietary AI models.

Research and Published Insights

We sometimes publish original research about how people use Pawsitive Messages, such as the studies in our PawNotes™ Research section. For this research we analyze aggregated data and study patterns — counts, medians, and percentages across many records. No individual person or pet is identified.

The only place a real pet appears publicly by name or photo is when the pet parent has submitted that pet to be featured and agreed to the publicity terms described on our PawClub page.

AI processing may be performed by third-party service providers. These providers process data solely to provide services to us and do not receive rights to use your data for independent commercial purposes.

5. Data Processing Location

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the app, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in these locations.

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

You may delete your account at any time.

7. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account in the app:

Settings → Delete Account

When you delete your account:

• Your account information is permanently removed
• Your pet profiles and message history are deleted
• Your Treat balance is forfeited

Deletion cannot be undone.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to host the application, process payments, and generate AI content. These providers are contractually required to process data only for the purpose of delivering services to us.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Pawsitive Messages is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
